Proposal Description

Pin Save is a decentralized image sharing and content aggregation platform where users can not only control the content, but also the platform itself.

The initial funding request would go on an integration with Ocean that would allow Pin Save users to share and monetize data via Ocean Protocol.

We will include an Ocean Protocol in the next js back end application to display the most recent data schema, which we will make available via the Ocean Protocol Marketplace.

Furthermore, we will airdrop rewards to the posters who generated the most engagement on the platform, as well as expanding the user base through community outreach on Twitter.

Team Experience

We have already implemented a very first prototype both on NEAR VM with Rust during Filecoin and Encode Accelerator. We have further pivoted to the EVM version on Polygon https://evm.pinsave.app/, which we currently develop as part of the Filecoin grant program.

As a team we have completed Gitcoin bounty project for Uniswap: https://github.com/dspytdao/dspytai, Algorand https://developer.algorand.org/solutions/artificial-intelligence-on-algorand/ and won 3rd prize for DeFi Algorand Encode track https://medium.com/encode-club/encode-x-algorand-hackathon-prizewinners-and-summary-286fc4beea38 building complex smart contracts.

Problem

Monolithic online apps maintain control of user material, hindering the adoption of decentralized technologies.

A user might utilize OpenSea to publish the material, however there are considerable obstacles:

- Only a small percentage of collections make it to the homepage.

- Confidence and web3 expertise are required for the content publication procedure.

- Content feedback and engagement indicators are primarily reflected in price fluctuations.

Solution

Our team advocates implementation of a decentralized image sharing and content aggregation platform where users can not only control the content, but also the platform itself.

The combination of decentralized storage, smart contracts and creator ownership of intellectual property creates new dynamics between content creators and forms new more meaningful communities.
