Report Information

How metrics will be tracked & reported:

  • Reporting Sources: Blog/Newsletter, Twitter.
  • Process: Creation of a report document in PDF format that will include page views and subscribers from Blog/Newsletter, followers and post impressions of the Ocean related tweets from Twitter.

Project Description

We decided to create a wider Greek community with many different cryptocurrency projects. This way we believe that the articles will gain more exposure and people will become more engaged with the community and the projects. Our plan is to gather all the articles into one main blog and have one main Twitter account. Thus we Integrated the Ocean Protocol Greek blog into the Greek blog/newsletter CryptoBlocks and the Greek community which surrounds it.

Final Product

A Greek Community for Ocean Protocol and increased participation in the Project.

Value Add Criteria

There is a strong grassroots cryptocurrency movement in Greece and Cyprus since the early days of Bitcoin. According to Wikipedia, the Greek language is spoken in Greece with a population of ~10.7 million (2019 estimate) and in Cyprus with a population of ~1.2 million (2018 estimate) among other countries as well. There is a total of 13.4 million native speakers (as of 2012) including Asia Minor, Balkans, Black sea coast, Eastern Mediterranean and Southern Italy.

Hey my greek fellows.

we are doing a quite similar job for the german community (beside publishing a newsletter) and manage to keep the work going thanks to the great Ocean Ambassador Programs Activity Farming. Maybe that could be a better solution for you guys ?

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

We started from the ambassador program and were referred to make a grant proposal to the DAO.

We have contacted the team and they have encouraged us to keep making proposals.

So at this time we will continue with this method.
