Proposal Description
Having started out outreach activities back in October, we started off with an ambitious set of goals to kick-start the Official Outreach within the Indian community with an intend to onboard more beginners into the AI*Web3 space, along with the Active Crypto-Indian Community. We were able to successfully pull off strategies that are atypical of an outreach program and our results display the same. We managed to steer through pivoting in view of COVID restrictions in place for physical events and we intend to continue our outreach efforts with a meaningful funneling towards the Ocean DAO ecosystem.

IO Media Program:
Current Problems :

Lack of visibility/exposure for the proposals submitted for OceanDAO grants. Due to which many voters end up not having enough information at the right time about the participants, leading to a sub-optimal voting activity.

Lack of awareness to builders on when and how to raise capital for their projects.
How to fix this?

Use various forms of media such as Podcasts, Teasers, Product Demos, Tweets(Potential integration into ocean pearl?)

[1] Establish the Indian Outreach as a DAO ecosystem to continue growth & engagement with the Indian ecosystem of developers, web3 beginners & curious data-scientists - Social media outreach of over a 1000+ followers and Indian Ocean Builder Community in Discord & Telegram: Total of 164 members

Project Description
Coming off a highly successful Indian Ocean campaign since Round10 of Ocean DAO, we intend to continue the outreach initiative and engage with the active Indian community of builders and community leaders that we have engaged through our first epoch of activities since R-10.

As outlined in our last proposal in Round16, we intend to continue the good work in bringing more value add to the Ocean outreach in terms of
- To push to have more digital presence in all the major social media networks and starting podcasts with ocean devs under the IO Media Program.
- DAO Outreach with collaborations and sponsored events.
- Ecosystem funds to improve developer outreach
- Project Guiding
- Service DAO to help community get more opportunities & achieving the missions
Bringing support to the working groups and other stakeholders in the Indian ecosystem
Grant Deliverables/Usage of Ocean Funding:
- Organize a physical event with Loyola College , estimating a 100+ crowd.
- Organize an online event with VIT institute on Ocean Marketplace and Stack.
- Educate NGO fellowship members on Ocean ,Crypto and NFT’s.
- Start developer bounties aggressively and contribute to OceanDAO via a proposal, while continuing mentorship and advisory to current IO mentored projects (in case of Maximum Funding requested)
- Physical meetup with possible collaborations and sponsorships from other Protocols or OceanDAO projects(in case of Maximum Funding requested)
- Increase the proposals visibility via Media Program and help get them enough exposure via our platform by interviewing/producing content around OceanDAO participants(in case of Maximum Funding requested)
