mPowered is a blockchain-based platform where we facilitate a data broker role between Data-Centric AI/ML Companies and with data publishers who want to share data in a privacy preserving manner.

Our goal is to reduce the friction associated with traditional brick and mortar companies who want to participate in the new Data economy but don’t know how to do it. We are firm believers that a Data-Centric focus should be prioritized rather than just publishing troves of data which don’t have much value. Our market analysis have shown that AI/ML companies invest about 80% of their time cleaning and preparing data and consequently its led to a model-centric approach. However ,this needs to change. By creating a data-centric paradigm and providing “clean”, easily ingestible data-sets, they will be able to capture new opportunities for both publishers and consumers of data. In addition, another roadblock that publishers and consumers have isn’t data availability, data is already very ubiquitous. The opportunities lies in data exposure and discovery, integration, and creating “data-additives” toolsets such as Ocean Protocol’s Web3 tools to amplify this new data economy.
