Part 3 - Proposal details:

3.1 Details of the proposal:

This proposal is designed to outline specific research and framework development that will be undertaken to lay the foundation for a data staking process for the CoralApp wellness and fitness application. In the current design, there is an insight section that allows users to see a dashboard of their weekly/monthly engagement. The following are factors are to be considered:

  • User-controlled fitness data - Users will own their own data
  • Privacy preserving mechanisms powered by Ocean and Storage stacks
  • Mobile dApp functionality; that is agnostic to specific chains

3.2 App & Project software will be live at

Project software: Not completely open-source, a specific framework might be available that helps with Mobile app integrations

Hello, thank you for posting your project. I am happy to see new contributors in the ecosystem. Can you please consider changing the name of your project since it overlaps with an existing Project, “Coral.”

I know it sucks to pick a name and in the end it is up to you but here are some reasons why:

  • Voter confusion, voters may think they are voting for a different project
  • Project outome confusion, trackers and analytics will have to work with dirty data
  • Brand collision

I’m sure there are other reasons as well. Some alternative ideas include:

  • Reef
  • ActiveCoral
  • FitCoral
  • Diver

Good luck!

Hi @hebbianloop, thanks for the update. We have changed the Project title to FitCoral indeed.

However, we are unable to change the title of the post for some reason. Maybe it can get sorted out or the Name of the Project in description could serve the purpose.

@idiom-bytes do help us in any way possible for this

@Coral & @hebbianloop Done!

Hello @Coral,

Please notice that we are updating the funding process for R13 and there are important things for you to know. We will be deploying an update to the Ocean Website, where you will be able to claim your grant on your own time.
Funding the smart contract may take ~2 days after Voting Ends. There will still be a funding deadline of 2 weeks to claim your grant.
You will need a web3 wallet + Airtable to complete the process. Grant requests via request.finance will be deprecated.

You can find all instructions here: https://github.com/oceanprotocol/oceandao/wiki/Request-Grant-Guidelines
You will have until January 10th to update your proposal with all required fields.

Please let us know if you experience any issues or bugs. You can also submit tickets to Github and ping us inside of ocean-dao-engineering for any help. Thank you!

I enjoyed talking to you, as well as discussing mission & vision and am convinced your project will aid people with income from their data that need it the most.

You have my support!
